People are not “Resources.” People are not “Prospects, Eyeballs,  “Users”—or “blocks of wood.” People are people, with families, and a world outside of work. Organizations that integrate their thinking for the potential that hardworking, loyal employees a) still exist, and b) have motivations outside of making senior management rich, will do much better than the dot-bombs of the 1995-2000 stock market craze.
